Valencia CF to play December friendly against Nottingham Forest as part of Mestalla centenary events

Valencia CF will play Nottingham Forest on December 16th in a friendly at Mestalla, held during the break from LaLiga activity for the 2022 Qatar World Cup. The game will be part of the celebrations of the Mestalla centenary on Friday, December 16th at 7:30 pm kick-off time.

Nottingham Forest previously visited Mestalla for events such as Valencia CF’s first European match, in 1961, and the 1980 European Super Cup second leg.

The two teams most recently met in a preseason friendly, held on July 30th of this year, at Meadow Lane in Nottingham. The game ended 1-1.

Nottingham Forest currently compete in the English Premier League, returning to the top flight after a 24-year absence.
